Australia’s premium kitchen appliance brand, Breville, will rally 20 of the country’s top chefs and 20 media personalities for a pizza party fundraiser on Monday 23 March, part of the company’s continued support for the ongoing bushfire crisis in Australia.
A dozen top chefs from around the country will each partner up with well known media personalities, creating their own take on pizza toppings. Ingredients and produce will be sourced from fire affected areas to further lend support and funds to help these local communities.
Chefs joining the pizza party include Mark LaBrooy (Three Blue Ducks), Analiese Gregory, Brent Savage (Bentley Restaurant + Bar, Monopole, Yellow, Cirrus), Nic Wong (Icebergs Group), Orazio D’Elia (Matteo Sydney), Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters), Colin Fassnidge (My Kitchen Rules), Morgan McGlone (Belles Hot Chicken), Matt Stone (Oakridge Wines) Trish Greentree (10 William St), Roy Ner (ZA ZA TA), Jordan Toft (Mimi’s, Coogee Pavilion & Bert’s Bar & Brasserie, Newport).
Media personalities involved include Larry Emdur (The Morning Show, Ch 7), Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross (comedian and design enthusiast), Joanna Hunkin (editor of Australian Gourmet Traveller), Kerrie McCallum (editor-in-chief of delicious. Magazine and delicious. on Sunday), Broadsheet editor of Sydney, Sarah Norris, and national food critics John Lethlean (The Australian), Joanna Savill (Qantas Magazine), Anthony Huckstep (delicious) and Gemima Cody (Good Food).
The team from Fratelli Paradiso and 10 William St will be on the bar, curating wine and drinks for the night, again sourced form areas affected by the bushfires.
Tickets are $50 a head, which includes pizza, Italian snacks and drinks from 6-9PM. ALL funds raised on the night will be allocated to a number of affected communities and charities.
