This crumble is so easy and delicious! Those who've ordered a Ducks produce box for wc 27/4 may find a special surprise from our friends at Farmer Jo, so we decided to create a delicious dessert to enjoy at home. The Coconut Porridge with Maple & Oats happens to have the perfect flavour and texture for a crumble, while it making it more wholesome than your usual crumble mixture. I’ve made this recipe to feed 4 since many of us are in lockdown, but feel free to double if you have a bigger family!

Step 1 Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Grease your baking dish or cast iron pan with butter or oil. Step 2 Place all of your filling ingredients in a medium bowl and gently toss so all apples are coated. Step 3 In another medium bowl, work the butter and flour by rubbing between your fingers until it forms a chunky breadcrumbs consistency. Add your porridge mix and incorporate.  Finally add 1 tbs of sugar and mix through. Step 4 Place your apples in the dish or pan and be sure not to leave any of the juicy liquid behind. Top the apples with your crumble, sprinkle over the remaining tbs of sugar and then bake in the oven for about 30 mins or until golden. That's it! Serve with warm vanilla ice cream or whatever cream you love. It's the perfect iso dessert.
